By using hojbooks.uk or purchasing from House of Joy ("we," "us"), you agree to these Terms.

1. Orders & Pricing

• Eligibility: You must be 18+ (or have parental permission) to place an order.

• Pricing: All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling and include VAT/sales tax where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors or cancel orders if stock is unavailable.

• Used Books: Used items are described on the product page. Normal age-related wear is expected and not considered a defect.

2. Shipping & Returns

• Delivery: Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by shipping providers or incorrect addresses.

• Physical Returns: Unused, undamaged physical books can be returned within 14 days of delivery at the customer’s expense.

• Damaged Items: If an item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days with photos for a replacement or full refund.

3. Digital Products

• Downloads (eBooks/Audiobooks) are for personal, non-commercial use only.

• Due to their non-tangible nature, digital sales are final and non-refundable once downloaded, unless defective.

4. General

• Intellectual Property: All site content (text, logos, graphics) belongs to us or our licensors and cannot be used without permission.

• Liability & Law: To the extent allowed by law, our liability is limited to the value of your purchase. These terms are governed by the laws of United Kingdom.
